The Mechademia conference committee is happy to announce further details about the 2019 conference, held at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Mechademia 2019 will take place on September 27-29, and keynote speaker Kazumi Nagaike will give a talk entitled “A Cross-Cultural Analysis of Men’s Desires to “Become” Fudanshi: On the Psychology, Physicality, and Communication Strategies of Male Fans of BL in East Asia.”
Additionally, the call for papers has been extended to May 15, 2019. Full details on the CFP and all other conference information are available on the conference page.
